Our Story
Webuycycle has been formed by a trio of friends who love cycling. We have been riding bicycles for many years and compete locally, nationally, and even internationally at triathlon and time trialling.
We are a genuine company run by genuine people with actual premises you can visit. After some time of buying and building bicycles, we realise that selling them on is not always straightforward and that not everybody enjoys the potential hassle associated with using auction/selling sites.
We wanted to offer a way of selling that’s more immediate, more dependable, and more personal for the seller.
We will treat your quotation request with respect and offer a fair market price for your bicycle.
We may even consider offering an appropriate quote on damaged bicycles. We deal with the public for one off purchases to trade accounts for NOS, ex-demo, customer returns and even whole fleets of ex-rentals.

I’ve just bought a Giant Revolt and the whole process has been superb.
I had a few initial questions including... wanting tubes rather than tubeless.
The guys fitted tubes and included a spare.
The delivery was great and the bike packaging awesome.
The bike was advertised as virtually new and that’s how it looks.
The gears, brakes etc all work perfect.

How simple was that. Completed the online form, uploaded a few pictures and pressed send. Reply back the next day with... a fair valuation. Dropped the bike off at the shop, waited a few minutes while they checked the bike over and the money was in my account a few minutes later. Until I see they have advertised it up at £1,000 Now feel completely mugged off and out of pocket*** Very straight forward and professional selling my bike to these guys. Very easy and efficient process from the start to the finish. I took some photos of my Canyon. I was totally... honest when describing the bike which was easy as it was in great condition. I received a good valuation for it. I got a bike box for free from my local bike shop. I had loads of packing in the house. I wrapped every part of the frame with foam sheets. I followed the guides for packaging. I took the front wheel, pedals, seat and handlebars off and protected every item. I sent the bike by freight using Paisley. The bike was picked up on Tuesday and delivered on Wednesday. I received the money direct to my bank Wednesday evening. If I had sold it privately I might have got slightly more money but this was hassle free and less risky. Highly recommended

If you are posting your bike get yourself a free bike box from your local bike shop. Most bike shops have spare bike boxes they need to bin. Try to get a large box but check the dimensions are acceptable with your bike freight company. I used Paisley Freight on both occasions. Finally pack your bike really, really well. Check online guides on how to pack your bike for posting.

After viewing the Webuycycle website and the information attached to it I emailed to them the details and photos of the... Giant Defy Advanced I wished to sell. I received a very quick reply from Paul with a price he would pay for my bike. I thought the offer was very fair and after further correspondence arranged to drop the bike off this morning 11/06/20.

This is the first time that I have used this company and it was on the recommendation of a friend. I like the fact that... you have to prove that you own the bike to avoid people trying to sell on stolen bikes. The service was excellent-I sent all the details off on line and got a quote back very quickly. I decided to drive to Derby rather than post my bike in a box but having visited the shop and met the staff I would have no hesitation in posting it next time. I must admit, when found this site online I was a little wary. I had a look at all of the reviews and the people... leaving the reviews and decided it didn’t look fake so gave it a go. I was happy enough with the valuation. Obviously you get a little less than you would hope for if you were to sell the bike privately, but that’s the point. You are sacrificing a few extra quid for the speed and convenience of just getting a quick valuation and sale. I live in South Wales and as this is based in Derby I was not prepared to just send my bike off and trust that I would get it, or the money back. So I decided to put the bike in my car and take it up in person. Once at the Bikeworks shop Paul immediately made a quick inspection of the bike, pronounced he was happy and paid me the agreed upon price by electronic bank transfer. I checked it in my online banking app and the money was in my account immediately. I was back in the car and on my way again within 30 mins. It was quick, painless and I would not hesitate to recommend it to a mate.read more
