Product Description

With short travel and 29er wheels, the Orange Stage 4 far excels its travel figure.

Confidence inspiring, low-slung and featuring the kind of angles more often found on longer travel bikes, this is the short travel 29er that rides beyond the short travel checkboxes with flare.

The Orange Stage 4 boasts the same compact rear end that can be found across the Orange range, benefitting from the same result: more active suspension and and an increased performance on the small bumps.

The Stage 4 uses 190 x 40 ‘metric’ rear shock sizing which brings with it several advantages. Firstly, compared to the legacy sized shocks it gets more internal space for the shock to do its work. With a short travel shock, this is a real performance benefit allowing the shock to run cooler when things hot up. Greater overlap in the shock’s bushings bring more lateral stability to help counter natural lateral flex.

The SRAM hydraulic disc brakes let you ride with confidence, knowing you can stop on a dime in all weather should the need arise.

The SRAM XO1 Eagle offers the lightweight, reliable and simple performance of a 1x drivetrain and the easy maintenance to boot, but still provides a wide range of 12 gears for all gradients.
